This is the first edition of Doctor Who Weekly which came out on October 17th 1979.

This is the first Dr.Who Annual, published in 1965.
The second annual is the one to look out for though, it's rarer ! [49K]

 

In Doctor Who Weekly the first story to appear was Doctor Who and the Iron Legion.

The "Dalek Book" published in 1964 is the earliest Doctor Who annual, that we know of, but the first Doctor Who annual came out in 1965 and was published by World Distributors. Also that year "Doctor Who and the Invasion from Space" was published which is now scarce and worth around £90.

The Doctor Who Annual was published every year except 1971, 72, 88, 89 & 90, until 1996 when it changed it's name to the "Dr.Who Yearbook" and was published by Marvel.
