My basket
?
To add items to your
basket you need to select them from the shop. You can do this by using
the simple search box at the top of each page or by clicking on the Search
button for a specific search. Every item on the site will have a link
'Add to your basket'. Adding an item to your basket does not mean you have
made a purchase or that you are obliged to buy the item; it simply helps
you to save items that you are interested in.
Just because an item
is in your basket does not mean that it cannot be bought by another person.
Only after you have been through the Checkout process is the item removed
from the shop. Consequently, upon returning to your basket you may find
an item with a 'Sold' tag by it, which means that it has been purchased
while you were away. If this is the case you will need to remove it from
your basket by clicking the Remove tag.
Some Sellers have
stated a minimum purchase value in which case you may have to select other
items from that Seller to reach the specified amount. To assist you with
this, items in your basket are categorised by the Sellers who are offering
the respective product(s). For example you may have chosen 3 items from
26pigs, 2 items from 'The Comic Shop' and 1 item from 'Bob', a private
seller. By clicking on View Sellers Other Items you can view all the items
that Seller has for sale in order to select more items. All Seller information
is given on the item description page in the shop.
Removing
Items
You can remove items
from your basket one by one or by selecting the items you wish to remove,
and then clicking on the 'Remove All Items' button at the bottom of the
basket.
Previous Purchases ?
You may want to see
a record your previous purchases on 26pigs to monitor where your money
is going and whom you have purchased from. This acts as a record of all
your buying activity in 26pigs.
After you Checkout
with any seller, the next time you visit the site you will see a link,
About your last purchase. This is where we ask you to give us some
feedback about the sale. You will be asked if the sale went through or
not and the method of payment utilised. We use this information to see
how and where we can make improvements to your collecting experience.
You will also be asked
to grade your buying experience with the seller. Did it go well, were
the goods as stated, delivered on time etc? This information is attached
to the seller for all time and will not be removed. Any future prospective
buyer will be able to read what you have written about the seller and
decide for themselves whether they wish to make a purchase. This is a
tried and tested method to keep the seller on their toes and offering
the best service possible.
For more serious breaches of our Terms and Conditions we are always
here to listen and will help in any way we can, if the matter cannot be
resolved and the seller is found to be at fault then they will be forcibly
removed from the premises.
