Jag teamed up with Tiger in April 1969.

JAG started out as a giant TOPPER-sized comic, but later reduced to the standard size. Despite its relatively short run, it contained strips by the top artists of the day, including Joe Colquhoun on "Football Family Robinson"; Jesus Blasco on "The Indestructible Man"; and Geoff Campion on "Custer". - Lew Stringer

I remember in the Jag, a football strip about a famous footballer who returns from the dead to help his old football club...I'd love to read it again, I think it was called "Phantom of the Forest," a play on words, as the footballer's name was, J R Phantom! Best wishes, Gerard Brennan
