Spider-Man Comics Weekly ran for an ominus 666 issues.
It changed it's name on a number of occasions, with this title, "Spider-Man with the Super-Heroes" running from issue 158 to 199. It then went onto to become "Spider-Man and the Titans" and finally ending up as "Spidey Comic" in issue 652.

A British Spider-Man #1 with the free gift of a Spider-Man mask will only cost you around £10 if you can find one. And because of the huge amount of  American Spider-Man comics printed the only one of note is the Platinum Edition of Spider-Man 1, limited to 10,000 copies and sent out by Marvel to distributors in the US and the UK as a thank-you, this comic is worth around £100 (US$160) in near mint condition.

At about the same time as MARVEL took over the ACTION FORCE franchise from BATTLE (leading to a new team called STORM FORCE being created in that title (which was initially brilliant and very cool but eventually producing run of the mill stories), SPIDEY COMIC was relaunched to appeal more to the teenage readers of the MARVEL UK TRANSFORMERS and SECRET WARS reprints under the name SPIDERMAN and ZOIDS - the series took up reprinting post SECRET WARS SPIDEY stories along with ZOIDS an original uk strip, the ZOIDS strip was very cool and lasted 51 issues before being abruptly cancelled with a promise that the story would be concluded (as in so many cases it never was), the ZOIDS story was brilliant but had little to do with the toy line of the same name, they eventually became so popular the original uk strip was fighting with SPIDEY for cover spotnever hear much about it now though. -Tony Hutchison
PS. the Zoids strip also contains Grant Morrisons first work ever.
