Description
I am a collector who regularly ends up with spares, as a result of buying job lots or upgrading to better condition copies of comics I already have. Those spares are my stock - simple as that. Every penny from sales will go into building my own collection. I sell to feed my addiction! I'm also quite happy to work outside the cash economy, so once we've made contact through a sale we can discuss swaps if you would like. Pretty much all British comics from the 1940s onwards are of interest to me. In my day job, I work in museums and I'm currently putting together an exhibition on British non-humour comics from the 1950s to the 1990s, hopefully to tour in Scotland (and maybe the north of England) through 2009 and 2010. Updates (including venues and dates) will be posted as part of this profile as and when they become available - so keep coming back and checking!

Sale Terms
Payment within 10 working days, please. Overseas buyers welcome. Please note I can only take a minimum order of £5 if you are using PayPal. I endeavour to describe everything as accurately as possible. However, if you are in any way unhappy with any comic you receive from me, please do not hesitate to let me know. Don't be rude. If I've done anything wrong, it was a genuine mistake and I will do my utmost to fix it! Please note that I cannot make it to the post office every day, although I will aim to get a parcel off to you within two days of receiving payment (in the case of cheques, within two days of clearing). If there will be any further delay, I will let you know and give you the option of cancelling.

Payment
Cheques (sterling only), UK postal orders and paypal all accepted. Bank/money transfers are possible, although occasionally I may incur charges which I will have to pass on to you (but which I will warn you about in advance so you can make an informed decision).

Postage Guide
I ship for costs plus minimum 50p for packing. Anything above 50p will be as a result of increased costs only - unlike some online sellers I have no interest in making a profit from p&p charges. You can expect to receive your comics individually bagged and in stiffened packaging. The aim is to send out to the standard I would expect to receive, and for your comics to arrive in exactly the same condition they left my hands.
